Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, will fly into space today on the first manned flight of the New Shepard, the rocket ship of his space company Blue Origin.
Launch is scheduled for Tuesday just after 9 a.m. ET. You can watch here:
The 11-minute flight will fly more than 60 miles above Earth just nine days after Richard Branson became the first person to fly into space aboard a rocket he helped fund.
Bezos is supported by other astronauts: his brother Mark Bezos, the pilot Wally Funk and the 18-year-old Oliver Daemen.
The launch will be from Blue Origin facilities in an extremely remote location near Van Horn, Texas, which is approximately two hours from El Paso.
